BEAUTY IN THE BROKEN
purpose of the blog
The purpose of this blog is to encourage and uplift moms who feel lonely, stressed and hopeless with the hope and strength I have discovered in
seasons of great difficulty. It is also to empower moms to care for their whole self; mind, body and spirit with wellness tips, healthy recipes and recommended resources I personally have found to be helpful.
I have been blessed to have had many amazing women encourage and support me throughout the various different stages of my motherhood journey. This blog is a sort of "give-back" project--a way of passing on encouragement to moms in all walks of life. No matter what you believe about God or where you are in your spiritual journey...wether you became a mom intentionally or unexpectedly, wether you are single, married, separated or divorced...working full-time or part-time... inside or outside the home...on the brink of bankruptcy or having enough to share with others--I can relate because I have experienced what it's like to be a mom in all of these circumstances.
There are MANY joys in motherhood...but pain is often part of the process--on both a physical and emotional level.
I have experienced purpose from my pain and have seen beautiful things come from my seasons of brokenness. These are the stories I will be sharing. It is my hope that this blog will be an encouragement to moms and inspire you to see & share your stories of purpose and beauty that have come from your pain and your brokenness.
Sincerely,
